The best and brightest of the county’s business community will come together to launch the 25th Wiltshire Business Awards.
The event takes place on November 15, from 6pm at Thrings Solicitors in Swindon, as the search begins for excellence and innovation – from the smallest start-ups to the biggest names.
And guest speaker is explorer and adventurer David Hempleman-Adams.
Sponsored by Thrings Solicitors, NatWest, BBC Wiltshire, Mainline Employment, The Enterprise Network, RSM, C3 Marketing, Bespoke Training Services, Imagine Cruising, MAN Truck & Bus, Corporate Events and Center Parcs, the awards process provides a fantastic environment for firms and individuals to network and develop.
Entrants can put themselves forward for up to four categories and the launch event will give them a chance to meet the judges and gain an insight into the various categories.
Editor for Newsquest Wiltshire Pete Gavan said: “These fantastic awards are our way of celebrating the great work that’s done across the county.
“We hope to shine a light on the success stories, from the biggest businesses to the newest start-ups. And as it’s our 25th year, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.”
Darran Reynolds, head of advertising for Newsquest Wiltshire, added: “The awards is now in their 25th year and we are immensely proud of this event, which showcases all that Wiltshire has to offer in business.
“The launch is an opportunity to find out more about entering the awards and, having been involved for many years, I would recommend that regardless of the size of your business, you attend to see how you can take part in this hugely respected event.”
He paid tribute to the hard work of all the sponsors and judges, without whom the process would not be possible.
There are 11 categories in this year’s awards, including start-up business, small business, medium-sized enterprise, customer and staff care, services to the community, business person of the year, learning and development employer of the year, corporate, social and environmental responsibility award and the introduction of two brand new categories, the best business to work for and micro business/sole trader award.
All entrants will be considered for the outstanding excellence award, the winner of which will be crowned Wiltshire Business of the Year.
