Being part of the Wiltshire Business Awards has been an amazing journey for C4S Search. It has given us the opportunity to meet some fantastic businesses. The application process has forced us to take time out the day-to-day grind and reflect on our business, and it has offered a platform to tell our story.

Winning two awards, Small Business of the Year and Learning & Development Employer of the year was a great honour and we are particularly proud that the judges acknowledged the value of our services – offering a headhunt recruitment approach to the technical mid-market, covering IT, Digital & Engineering and promoting our partnership model.

The awards couldn’t have come at a better time as we celebrated the end to our 5th year of trading. It has definitely boosted morale within the business and increased our corporate profile in Wiltshire.

I’d like to thank our fantastic team as without their hard work, accolades such as this would not be possible. It’s thanks to our people, that we are able to do things differently and work in true partnership with customers to build long-term relationships.

The Wiltshire Business Awards are a great opportunity to be recognised and celebrated. Naturally Social has been going for three years now and we’ve done some fantastic work for our clients – I felt it was about time we started shouting about it.

The awards evening itself is a wonderful chance to get dressed up, meet other Wiltshire companies and reflect on what I’ve achieved – with the people closest to me.

Being a finalist and a winner has given a lot of extra recognition and leverage when securing business. I’d certainly recommend it.

Winning the Wiltshire Business Awards 2018 – Customer and Staff Care sponsored by Mainline Employment, was a tremendous achievement, one that is particularly relevant and important to Busy Books with its core values and ethos being to support and care for small local business.
The awards themselves were an exciting evening of fancy dresses, high heels, prosecco, team bonding, and a fantastic opportunity to meet the judges, other nominees and all involved in the Wiltshire Business Awards.
We have received new clientele since the awards because of them hearing about our win, reading the Wiltshire Times and the Business Magazines locally, these being the right sort of client that appreciate a company that cares about customer service and attitude towards its customers and staff equally. We are still delighted and couldn’t ask for better praise and recognition.

Being nominated in four categories in the Wiltshire Business Awards for the first time in 2018 was a great honour and amazing to see so many other businesses across Wiltshire also taking part. It was a tense but eye opening experience to be grilled by independent judges across the sector on how you run your business, demonstrating great customer service and detailing what your future ambitions are for the business.

We were delighted to be the winners of the Customer & Staff Care Award and undoubtedly it has raised the profile of our business and given the public added confidence about our high quality services.

I have always held the Wiltshire Business Awards in high esteem. I actually put off entering last year because I felt we weren’t ready and then spent the next year making sure we were ready to enter the 2018 awards.

The event itself was superb and to be finalists in 4 categories made the evening even more special. When we walked away with Runner up in 2 of those categories against such a high calibre of businesses it made me realise how far our business has come.

The networking opportunity at the awards has meant we are now working with one of the main winners, being able to meet them face to face on the night and start a relationship worked wonders and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity

Entering awards is not just about winning or losing, it’s a good way of making you stop to analyse your business and make positive changes. Running a business requires a massive amount of tenacity and determination. We have entered many awards over the last 9 years and it has always been of benefit to us.

In 2011 Lingerie Outlet Store won ‘Small business of the year’. Winning this award gave ‘Lingerie Outlet Store’ the confidence to drive the business forward.

It is fair to say that after winning the award in 2011, the business changed over night. Suppliers began to take us seriously and negotiation started to become easier. It taught us that entering awards is important. It is important for confidence, growth, customers and generating new business.

In 2017 ‘Lingerie Outlet Store’ won a UK lingerie award ‘Etailer of the year’ This shot our business to stardom and we began to get a lot of attention by National Press.

In 2018 we were placed as the overall winner and outstanding excellence in the ‘Wiltshire Business Awards’. The awards this year highlighted some very key points and made us stop and evaluate the structure of the business. Suffice to say that within the next 12 months our business will transform. It is very exciting and we expect to double the size of the organisation by 2020

We are finalists again in the 2018 Lingerie Awards and are excited to attend the ceremony in November this year.

‘Lingerie Outlet Store’ started in a back bedroom in 2009 and now we employs over 35 staff and turn over millions every year!

Thank you to the ‘Wiltshire Business Awards’ for the motivation to drive our business forward!

It goes without saying we will be entering 2019 ‘Wiltshire Business Awards’
