Russell Frith The Enterprise Network (TEN) is delighted to sponsor the Start-up Business of the Year category in this year’s awards. We’re looking forward to celebrating the success of small businesses which are the lifeblood of the British economy, and to continue our efforts to champion, support, encourage and facilitate small businesses countywide.

TEN, an initiative led by Wiltshire Council, is nurturing new, and growing small and micro businesses, in Swindon and Wiltshire by providing modern office facilities with “easy in, easy out” contracts at competitive prices, aligned with business support through the SME Growth Programme and numerous networking and workshop opportunities.

TEN has helped more than 350 businesses become established and grow from our four centres in Trowbridge, Salisbury, Ludgershall and Royal Wootton Bassett. These businesses have created more than 485 jobs in the area. All of TEN’s centres have high speed broadband, allowing our customers to communicate effectively. We are able to accommodate co-workers and hot-deskers who need office space on a more ad hoc basis and we offer a “virtual office” package for people working from home but needing a business address. Many of these centre users have gone on to become
tenants and are growing in size with the help of TEN.

We also provide state of the art meeting and conference rooms for our tenants and other organisations to hire. TEN is taking a new approach to rural economic development that aims to nurture new and developing businesses, raise the entrepreneurial confidence and ambition of the rural community, support military leavers, military partners and women keen to start or grow a business in Swindon and Wiltshire.
